Trained as both a painter and sculptor, Vari’s abstract works often retain references to the human figure. In the case of Tango, the rhythmic angles and curves of the entwined forms suggest a dancing couple. Vari is famous throughout the world for her polychromatic sculptures and her canvas paintings.
